For Annika

Annika's cardigan is ready to be posted off to her in Perth, for her third birthday. I hope it will arrive safely. The parcel with giraffe socks and flower socks never arrived in New Zealand. I have filled in a form to try to trace it, the parcel did have a tracking number, but I don't feel all that confident that it will turn up.

  4. This is beautiful and such tiny stitches the trim looks great, I sure hope all the items make it to proper destination that is sad news on the socks.

I'm so, so sorry for the loss of the socks. They were a work of art! Katie V in NC

  9. It's a beautiful sweater. I'm sure she will love it. What a shame the socks never arrived. I hope they, too, get to their destination (while she is still small enough to WEAR them).

  14. Oh, so very distressing. Often things do arrive very late or are returned to sender for obscure reasons known only to the inner sanctum of the postal realm.

The sweater looks like so many I made for my Grands - a sweet pattern it is. Makes me nostalgic for little people who wore those tiny ageless knitted beauties. My kids are now 5 -10, and big folks. If I did knit, the sweaters would be BIG!

I love it. The colour is perfect too. Nice work, Jane.
